World Cleanup Day '24
I served as the lead and sole designer for a World Cleanup Day event in my community, creating social media visuals such as event reminders, partnership announcements, and volunteer calls. I worked closely with the program manager to ensure all key information was clearly communicated while maintaining visually appealing and consistent design aesthetics

Problem
The World Cleanup Day event faced the challenge of raising enough community awareness and mobilising volunteers within a limited timeframe. Clear, timely, and engaging visuals were needed to communicate key details, build excitement, and ensure participation across social media platforms.
Approach
After meeting with the project manager, I first outlined all the designs needed from reminders to volunteer calls and partnership posts. Once I had the content, I used Photoshop to turn it into clear, visually engaging designs that matched the “clean and green” feel of the event.
I kept the style consistent across everything, made sure the message was easy to understand, and delivered the designs on time so there was enough publicity before the event.
Result
The campaign turned out to be a success; the designs helped spread the word quickly, drawing in volunteers and creating real buzz in the community. On the day of the event, there was a strong turnout, and together, people made a visible difference in cleaning the environment, leaving the community more aware and engaged in keeping it green.
